should i use dp coupler or anything

No relaitionship each other. 1. system plc control over profibus 3 VSDs. 2. system plc control over profibus4 VSDs. 3. system no connection on profibus 4. system no connection on profibus 5. system no connection on profibus and 5. system has scada (honeywell) Nowadays we want to communicate system-1/2/3/4 over system-5 plc on profibus line. We want to change setvalues and view system-1/2/3/4. Please look at the attachment for details. can we communicate system-1/2/3/4 by profibus without using any part like dp coupler. Fafner Silver Member Joined: 3/20/2013 Last visit: 3/11/2025 Posts: 676 Rating: (44)	as far as i know this should be possible to have more than one master on your profibus net. precondition: - every participant on the profibus net has his own ID - they know of each other (perhaps you have all systems in one project?) and please hold in mind that the you get, with more components in your net, a higher cycle time.
