Showing current user logged on to windows

gebruiker1 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hello everybody, I have a project with 1 server. On this server i installed Wincc 7 with webnavigator and terminal server. I have also 3 thin clients. Every thinclient is logging on to the terminal server with a different username. Every thinclient controls a part of the factory. For example: Thinclient 1 is controlling part 1 (infeed product) Thinclient 2 is controlling part 2 (modifing product) Thinclient 3 is controlling part 3 (outfeed product) There will be 3 WINDOWS users(Thinclient1,Thinclient2 and Thinclient3) There will also 3 WinCC users(Operator, Maintenace and Administrator) The thinclients is logged in to the server with a windows user. The server will automaticly start iexplore with the webclient. At this point there is no problem. But i want to read out which user is logged on to windows. So i can write a script that load screen 1 if Thinclient 1 is logged on, and go to screen 2 when Thinclient 2 is logged on. The WinCC users have all different rights. Operator can only start and stop the part off the factory Maintenace can do some modifications to the production And administrator can do everything Does anyone knows how i can read out which WINDOWS user is logged on?

gebruiker1 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	I found a solution but thats is a bit complicated. I start a .bat file with the command: [code]echo %username% > d:\username.txt[/code] This command will make a file with the current username. After this i read the file in wincc with the command fgets and strore it in a local tag. But there must be an easier way to get the username. Is there anyone with a easier way?

But with your anwer i found a solution.
