JeffryWithagen Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hi All, I have written a programm in Simatic Manager and one in Ifix. They are connected by the driver Si7, this all works great! But now I have a question. What happens exactly in the PC, you can see a picture in the attachment how I think it is. Am I right? Attachment connection.JPG (489 Downloads)

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, I am sorry, but I fear that the S7-Connection is not from IFix to the SIMATIC NET driver but from the SIMATIC NET driver to the PLC. IFix only polls the data from the SIMATIC NET interface. If both runs on MPI I see no further problem. Best regards J_Bell

If you talk about the PG Functions with STEP7 than you say PG Functions... not "normal Connections". By the way, I have still no clue whatthe Si7 driver is? Maybe it is something by the IFix SCADA... maybe. Best regards J_Bell

JeffryWithagen Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hi, Thanks again! With "normal connections" I do mean the PG functions (like the programming of the PLC, or debugging this device). The Si7 driver is a programm wich makes it possible to connect Ifix to a siemens PLC. Greetings, Jeffry Withagen
