Siemens 840 D Control unit - ALARM : 120202 and ALARM : 2001

mazsan Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, We have problem on our machine. I have 840 D Siemens control unit machine. We didn't use the machine long time. Then we opened the machine again, battery alarm occured. then we changed the battery. Then the following alarm occured; Alarm no : 120202- Wait for connection to NC/PLC Alarm no : 2001- PLC has not started up Machine model : INDEX MV200 I need your help. Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. ================== I think your m/c lost all NCK and PLC data. try to find back up on your HMI HD, and download to NCU, normally it will be OK. good luck.

nulizhang Platinum Expert Joined: 10/17/2007 Last visit: 1/24/2025 Posts: 4160 Rating: (363)	I think you have on NCU led PF lit and PS flashing. if so that means you NCU alraedy lost data. you need to reset NCU by S3 and S4 and then you will get communication between NCU and HMI, also "Start-up" menu will be active, then input password: SUNRISE, then go to "service" menu download you backup. good luck and post the result to let me know.
