Siemens adaptor USB A2

dazzlaaaaaa Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone, this is my first post here, so please forgive me if it is in the wrong section. I have just purchased the new USB A2 adaptor, but i cannot get the driver to install on my XP professional, toughbook cf-19. I have used both the cd that comes in the box and the driver download from this site, but each time the setup goes through and completes but does not install the driver after going through the rest of the install. I have checked this by going through the install on my home pc which is windows 7 and it installs perfectly. It seems that for some reason the msi is not requesting the driver install at the end. I was just wondering if anybody else has maybe had this issue and found a way around it or if there is a standalone simatic device drivers msi which contains that specific driver. Thanks in advance

dazzlaaaaaa Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	scratch that i have it working. I extracted the drivers from the data1.cab within s7dos/setup/data1 and then manually installed the drivers pcadpa2. Hope if anyone else has this issue then this can resolve it for you. Thanks
