Hello Experts,

I am working on a project where i need to communicate Siemens PLC as salve to Rockwell Logix5661 PLC. I have purchased Prosoft (MVI56_PNDPV1)Module and connected it with Profibus cable to the CPU 315-2 DP Slot and module which sits on rockwell backpane and was able to setup the configuration at both Rockwell end. however when i have downloaded the hardware in the Siemens PLC it gives me BUSFault And System Fault.

Can you please let me know how we can configure the CPU as Slave is there any documentation. what should be the general hardware configuration we need to use any CPU as Slave

How do you add a CPU as DP slave to the DP master system of a different CPU whereby the CPUs are configured in different STEP 7 projects?

 I don't think there is a sample for TIA  Portal , but it is easy to create a similar case for S7-300 with an integral DP port in slave operating mode in that engineering software.
