MillionDollarArm Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Dear experts, I have a Data acquisition controller running embedded linux. It has got a full fledged ethenet port as well wi fi connectivity. It has also got USB 2.0 port along with HDMI port. The programming language which the data acquisition controller support is C, perl, python, php (basically any language which linux system can support). I am looking for connecting it to a low cost Siemens HMI like KTP 400 on ethernet or USB. Is it possible to do this?. If yes then please guide me as to how to do it. Any step by step guide or link to a video tutorial will be very helpful. Thanks in advance Regards

Gärchla Posts: 457 Rating: (46)	Hello MillionDollar WInCC provides a couple of channels for communication with a PLC or a data acquisition system. Siemens S7, Mitsubishi, allanBradley... systems are standard. With low-cost-efforts you cannot communicate with your data acquisition system. The only way is to develop an OPC-interface on your side because WinCC is able to read data from OPC server. But low-performer KTP is not able to communicate via OPC.
