SIEMENS licences does not work in these cities!

Ayman Elotaify Platinum Expert Joined: 5/28/2008 Last visit: 6/2/2023 Posts: 4448 Rating: (827)	Siemens licences does not work inthe following cities : Caracas: (GMT-04:30) Newfoundland: (GMT-03:30) Tehran: (GMT+03:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi: (GMT+05:30) Sri Jayawardenepura: (GMT+05:30) Kathmandu: (GMT+05:45) Yangon: (GMT+06:30) Adelaide, Darwin: (GMT+09:30) The problem that the licence manager does not understand the 30 or 45 minutes in the time zones as mentioned in the above cities time zones. So, If your PC is adjusted to one of these time zones, and when checking licences through the automation licence management S/W, it will tell you that the licences are deffected!! Actually it's not deffected, change your time zone to any other time with (GMT +/- xx:00) the licences will work again.

Ayman Elotaify Platinum Expert Joined: 5/28/2008 Last visit: 6/2/2023 Posts: 4448 Rating: (827)	The ALM installed on my PC is V3.0+SP1 Installed software: step7 proffessional 2006 SR4; V5.4+SP3+HF1 I checked the licences and it does not work while the mentioned time zones are selected!

gre_m Posts: 947 Rating: (45)	I thing - in industrie should be only Time zone GMT+00. And setting time to identical local time should make in Bios. In this case many problem is removed

Becaus I am using the time zone GMT+ 5.30 from last four years and I never faced this problem with any vertion of ALM. Currently I am using GMT+3.30 in the PC and here is also it is ok. Can you please explain me, what is teh exact problem.

Why does a message appear in STEP 7 stating that there is not a license key present even though the relevant license key is installed? It's based on ALM 3
