Siemens /Mitsubishi Profibus Communication

The Mitsubishi has a profibus module installed(QJ71PB92V). On the Siemens side i have a ET200SP + 1510 CPU with a profibus dp coupler (6ES7545-5DA00-0AB0). How do i need to setup the hw configuration on the Siemens side? Do i need to import a GSD file from the Mitsubishi PB module?

All depends (logically) what can Mitsubishi do on Profibus, maybe this HW can be only Slave, check it carefully because then your S7 need act as Master (this module can be also Slave). So check for first this other side PB functionality (possibilities) and then select better way.

So if the Mitsubishi is the PB master, then i don't need to import any gsd files in my Siemens HW config? Can i just use the DPRD_DAT & DPWR_DAT to communicate with the Mitsubishi?

Maybe check this link: ET200SP GSD files What comm blocks you have available check also this link to manual: ET200SP CM DP Module Manual You have also there mentioned blocks DPRD_DAT and DPWR_DAT.

I would still put a DP/DP coupler 6ES7158-0AD01-0XA0 between the PLC's, to make things easier. You need to add GSD of the coupler to Mitsubishi HW and in Siemens HW configuration, just add the device. After you have the devices added, you can configure the I/O areas for the transfer. The you can use the I/O area in the program. No need for extra commands.

In Siemens diagnostic buffer i have the following error: Error: IO device failure - VirtualMastersystem_1 The read instruction DPRD_DAT returns 80A0, An Acces error was detected when accessing the I/O. I already tried to change the transerfer/received data to an 8 byte array. This is set correctly on both the Siemens and Mitsubishi. Consistency in the I_slave communication transfer area is set to Byte. Any idea?
