Hello, I cannot help you with PLC but according to my investigation of IPV6 for switches Ruggedcom 900G I suppose there is no IPV6 support. I have searched for IPV6 support in documentation for switches Ruggedcom 900G and IPV6 is not mentioned anywhere here. I logged into the switch via ssh and checked possible menus and this switch supports IPV4 addresses only. As today is 2017 and your request is from 2011 I suppose that priority of IPV6 implementation is very low for Siemens.

the CP1543 supports IPv6,but an IP address according to IPv6 can be only used for the following communications services:

●FTP server mode

●FETCH/WRITE access (CP is server)

●FTP client mode with addressing via a program block

●E-mail transfer with addressing via a program block

Some SCALANCE Supports also IPv6.
