LOGO!Barbarian Posts: 173 Rating: (95)	Hi otter The LOGO! does not support NTC's directly as there are no resistance measuring inputs possible on the LOGO! The PT100 module, although it measures resistance of a Pt100 temperature sensor, internally, it uses this resistance to balance a bridge circuit, yielding an internally calculated value descriptive of the temperature. YOu could possibley fudge somethign together with an NTC and some other temperature stable resistors to make a voltage divider, and then use either an on-board input of a LOGO! 24, 24o, 12/24RC or 12/24RCo or an analog input expansion module AM2 to get a 0..10 V or 0/4..20 mA reading into the LOGO! You can then use the analog amplifier blocks to correctly scale your range of values. It is nearly impossible for the LOGO! to handle a function curve conversion as per the data sheet, so a linear approximation (with increased error tolerances) will have to be expected. Matti Niemi / Sol... Posts: 9 Rating: (4)	Hi Otter, I made very low cost and easy use NTC > Pulse converter. You canread temperaturesusingnormaldigital inputs ofLOGO!. You can use this NTC module as well. Or you can just buyNTCtemperature component 0,5 eur. Digital input counter. Use Treshold trigger. Gate time 30 sek. 0C > 6 pulses 30C > 20 pulses 85C > 65 pulses 100C > 74 pulses and so on. This low amount of pulses are limited by LOGO! where max 4Hz frequency can be read by normal digital input. Originally I designed this converter to transfer generator temperatures in wind spiral mill to Logo, where cable length is too long for analog signal. Same time I use it to control water heater, heat of batteries and charger. I can use as many temperature sensors as I have digital inputs.
