Siemens S7-1200 and RS232 communication...

Andrzej_n Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello! I have trouble witch write a simple program to the RS232 communication. I have S7-1200 PLC witch CM1241 RS232 module. Could someone send me a simple program to make send "Hello wolrd..." via RS232 (in LAD). Best regards Andrew

FreakOnALeash Posts: 267 Rating: (24)	Hello! here is a sample to send the string from the S7-1200 to HyperTerminal. You need a null modem cable (http://www.nullmodem.com/NullModem.htm)to connect the CM1241 to the serial RS232 port of your PC. The port settings for the CM1241 (in the HW configuration) and for HyperTerminal are the default ones. It works! But I don't know, where the note comes from! Attachment RS232.zip (4490 Downloads)

The example is associated with the M0.7 memory. I do not understand how the TAG changes the state and how it is programmed.
