I'm new to TIA/WinCC and don't understand why I'm seeing this error message.

Trying to load the HMI screen (as defined inTIA portal) and output it on the HMI SIMATIC-1200.

On the HMI is a red bar that says "Project transfer failed..."
Can anyone help (see pic)?

You must install the V16 DVD3 relative to the panel images:

SIMATIC STEP 7 incl. Safety and WinCC V16 TRIAL Download

In addition, the corresponding images must have been transferred using Prosave on the panel:
