mmkhan Bronze Member Joined: 9/28/2007 Last visit: 9/27/2022 Posts: 224 Rating: (11)	Dear Experts I want to delete my existing plc program (6ES5928-3UB11) and want to download new plc program. when i try this plc says program exists in Eprom. it is not deleting or overwriting on existing program. is there any proecudre to download my new program in plc cpu928. how can i check my existing plc program is correct. plc cpu shows only green led and CP module also showing green led. but there is no any diigtal output module bit is acitve why??????

Hello 256, I would recommend you get yourself an EPROM of same type as installed. Program this EPROM with your software and then exchange Eproms. By thus you will be able to go back to original if your program has any errors. regards

I have only STEP5 V7.2 Software installed on my Personal Computer and RS232 to TTY converter. i can online with PLC. but when i try to transfer my new program it says that program exists in EPROM. when i remove EPROM from PLC CPU and then download my new program it still saying that program exists in EPROM. Theere is another file for CP Module.how can i transfer CP File to CP Module. I dont have COM GRAPH software for downloading CP File in CP Module. Dear Experts Please tell me step by step procedure for both problems. Where can i download COM GRAPH Software.

In regards to your on how to the 928, the best way would be to get a RAM Module so you can test your new program. To load the program to a EPROM you need: External Prommer or Field PG with Step 5 and Eprom Adapter UV-Eprom Eraser and please see chapter 17 on following Manual https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/attachments/5831084/Step5v702_e.pdf Regards / m.f.g
