Hi, For long cable runs you should check for resistance against the sensor selection data. If the load is too high you can burn the card. See the SIMATIC S7-400 S7-400 Automation System Module Data under chapter "5.22 Analog input module SM 431; AI 16 x 13 Bit (6ES7431-0HH00-0AB0) " for further info. |

Hi, Check the sensor data in the SIMATIC S7-400 S7-400 Automation System Module Data under chapter "5.22 Analog input module SM 431; AI 16 x 13 Bit (6ES7431-0HH00-0AB0)", page 302, "Sensor Data". Anyways, it is common sense is to use a Remote IO when you need to have long cable runs. |
