Hello Vijay,Here are two Siemens safety relays with fulfil the required specification:3SK1 Standard: 3SK1111-1AB30 (24V DC, 3NO Enabling circuits, 1NC signaling output)3SK1 Advanced: 3SK1121-1AB40 (24V DC, 3NO Enabling circuits, 1NC signaling output)Difference:3SK1 switching capacity current of the NO contacts of the relay outputs at DC-13 at 24 V and at AC-15 at 230 V: 5 A.Please check if the replacement fulfills all requirements in your application.More details regarding 3SK1 you will find in the manual which you can download in the product support under the following link:http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/67585885 reagrds LesPaul |

HHello ankur; Have a look at this manual, it discusses Safety Relays in Safety applications, with an explanation of standards and regulations involved, and examplecircuits such as the one in attachment: Application Manual SIRIUS Safety Integrated The measure for the achieved functional safety is the probability of dangerous failures, the fault tolerance and the quality that is to be guaranteed as a result of freedom from systematic faults. It is expressed in the standards using different terms: ● In IEC 62061: "Safety Integrity Level" (SIL) ● In ISO 13849-1: "Performance Level" (PL) Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hi Paul In stead of using sensor at input IN1, can I use PLC digital ouput. Pl confirm A typical circuit diagram is attached . Is it recommended to use fuses at the output of contacts 13-14 to avoid any contact melting etc. Regards, Vijay AttachmentPILZ Relays.pdf (306 Downloads) |

Hello, 1) The SIRIUS 3SK1 safety relays offer such an option with their basic unit and output expansion modules. This means you can increase the number of contacts as well as expand the switching capacity of the fail-safe controller up to 10 A. Another advantage is that the devices are already certified to the applicable safety standards. This FAQ shows the different options for using the 3SK1 device series as contact expansion modules. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/766769712) In the 3SK1 manual http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/67585885/0/en you will find in the technical data (eg. on page 215) the needed fuses. kind regards LesPaul |
