Ch_Maria Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hello! I need an urgent help about SIMATIC Automation Tool. I need to download a new programm to CPU with another program working in it. Firmware versions of both CPUs (a real one and in a new program) are the same 4.1. IP addresses are also the same. I copied the program, which I want to download to memory card; put the saved program to the folder C:\ProgramData\Siemens\SIMATIC Automation Tool\Programs. When I try updating my program in CPU i have a mistake "The connection to the device was lost prematurely". I also tried to reset the CPU to the factory settings before, but the mistake is the same. Are the any tips what could be the reason? Some years ago I worked with this program, but I didn't have any problems. I wil be really pleased to recieve any comments. Ch_Maria Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Ok. Thank you for your comments. I saw this in manual too. But i enter the password to the column and the mistake is the same as i described. Now I have the situation like this. I have CPU which were protected by a password (HMI access). I did this: Reset it to the factory settings. Downloaded the program without a password. But I still can't download the program, which is protected.
