Dear All,

        I am very new to Siemens HMI family. I have a Simatic Panel KTP400 Basic Mono(6AV6 647-0AA11-3AX0), I wanted to replace it with new KTP400 Color (6AV2 123-2DB03-0AX0). I have TIA Portal V13, could you help me to upload the program from old KTP400 Mono and Change it to new one and download it.?

Hi Irshadhashim,

1.u can restore the program from hmi but it is not editable.

2.u need an original backup of ktp400 mono and you have to change device to ktp400 color and neee to download.

Kindly have a look at these point:

1-How do you backup/restore with a Comfort Panel?

It is not possible to open and process the backup file with WinCC (TIA Portal). The file can only be downloaded to the original or another panel of the same type with a restore procedure.

2-Modify the HMI Program:

You should have the original program to be able to edit it .

3-Download the HMI Program:

How can you transfer a WinCC (TIA Portal) configuration to an operator panel using Ethernet?
