SIMATIC Logon: Server is not available. Only logon by a local user is possible. Let me preface by saying that I'm not well versed on this topic yet, so I apologize in advance if I am stating/missing otherwise obvious things or posting on the wrong place. I appreciate your input. I'm currently working on a preexisting S7-1500 system that uses a TP1500 Comfort and SIMATIC Logon/Active Directory for access. The system itself resides in a VM within a server in the PCN (for the sake of the example, let's say VM "A"). The actual server for this building went through some maintenance and was upgraded recently, and then recreated. Since then, users are not able to log into the HMI. I went through the process of reinstalling all the necessary licenses on VM "A", along with Automation License Manager, TIA Portal, SIMATIC Logon, and any other update that became evident at the time. My question is: What steps do I need to follow to be able to reenable the service? From my research I understand that process could be summarized as:
#1 already exist and I was able to corroborate that groups are still there, and they match those in the project. #2 I took care of by installing SIMATIC Logon, a license, and a Simatic Logon Remote Access on VM "A". And #3, well nothing in the system itself has changed — the PLC code and settings are still the same. Does anything need to be reconfigured/reinstalled on VM "B"? Does the Comfort Panel need to be reconfigured (i.e.: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/109802523). I look forward to your comments. Thank you. |

Hello rodolfochacin Check in the manual if there is something missing on your site: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109815056/119618863115 Also check if there is running a firewall or Anti virus scanner on the VM. The SIMATIC Logon Service uses Port 16389: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109815056/153405550475 Seems like something is blocking in the VM Bye Murof |
