Hello, As I found in Industry Mall Catalog: Home > Catalog > Automation Technology > Process control systems > SIMATIC PCS 7 > Update/Upgrade Packages > Updates/Upgrades Asynchronous to the PCS 7 Version > System Communication via Industrial Ethernet -> Product Information tab https://eb.automation.siemens.com/mall/en/WW/Catalog/Products/10037497 in order to run SIMATIC NET IE S7-1613 Edition 2008(6GK1716-1CB71-3AA0) with PCS 7 V8.0 SP1(2 redundant servers) on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64-bitI only need to upgrade S7‑REDCONNECT component with 6GK1 716-0HB00-3AE0 Please confirm if this is correct or if I need any additional SIMATIC NET component. |

Hi Cristian, I'm not sure if the upgrade S7-REDCONNECT is the only component you need. The latest version of SIMATIC NET IE S7-1613 is called HARDNET-IE S7 V8.2. The product name has been revised since version V8.1, as you can read here. I think for redundancy you need HARDNET-IE S7 REDCONNECT V8.2. I hope someone else in the forum can tell you which components you need additional for redundant use. Regards jumo |
