Dear everyone............

I am now working with our simulator for rotary knife machine........we use CPU S7-1500T, TM PTO4, TM PosInput , TM TimerDI and servodrive with pulsetrain input.

We use Library from siemens to test the fuction and work well with 1 knife.

But when we use 2 knives in in parameter NumberOfKnives the sistem running with error.

Is it another parameter we have to adapt or the fuction only possible for 1 knife?

it is possible that you use up to 6 knives.

The parameter NumberOfKnives is correct. You have to adapt this parameter if you use a drum with multiple knives.

Please have a look into the documentation, here you can find detailed information to the error ID and many information. In particular page 86 (chapter 6) could be very helpful for you

Hello DWI WIBOWO,

when you look up the error number in the documentation, you can find the description.

The error means that your modulo length of your rotary knife is not the same then the fsymech.

fsymech = knifecircumference / numberofknives

So therefore you have to adapt the modulo length of you rotary knife to this value.
In your case when running with 2 knives, just set the half of your actual value.
