Simatic S7-300 Routing Ethernet - DP

JozeV Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello, On project I have CPU 317-2 PN/DP. On ethernet side is also teleservice (diagnostic and software update) needed. On DP side is touch panel TP170B Color. Is it possible to download program to touch panel via ethernet (via teleservice from remote location)? If yes CPU must have some kind of routing capability from ethernet to profibus. Thank you Joze

Thank you Joze Hi, sorry, but a S7-300 CPU can't rout HMI donwload data. However you can use it for acess with s7 functions, for example. Hallo, Leider, a S7-300 CPU kann nicht HMI Konfigurationsdaten weiter leiten. Trotzdem es ist Möglich nutzen a S7-300 as brücke für S7 Funktions, zum Beispiel.

There you can read: The WinCC flexible engineering station must be connected to an MPI bus orPROFIBUS. and The operator panel on which the transfer is to take place must be connected to an MPI bus or PROFIBUS.
