Simatic S7 and TIA portal on same machine

dipakkadam_619 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am not sure if anyone else has experienced this problem or not. I installed the TIA portal V10 on the same same machine that has Simatic Step7. So whenever I open a project on TIA, the software just crashes. I have tried re-installing the TIA, but no good. It still keeps crashing. I am not sure if its because the machine is running the Simatic step 7 on and that is the reason. So can we run the Simatic Step7 ad TIA portal on the same machine.

WinCC Basic V10.5) can be installed on the computer in parallel with other versions of STEP 7, STEP 7 Micro/WIN, WinCC flexible (2008 and higher) and WinCC (V6.0 SP2 and higher). You didn't mention OS there. And did you update SP2 of Step7 Basic v10.5 to SP2?
