Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 11/17/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (319)	Hi iulian, There is as far i know no M-Bus Master for a S7-300 [:(] But there are RS232/M-Bus Gateways that will do the job [:o] From Westermo there is a Gateway: M-bus (Meter-Bus) is a new European standard for remote reading of heat or electricity meter. M-bus is also useable for other types of consumption meters. The M-bus interface is made for communication on two wire, this make it very cost effective. AD-01 has several functions in to one unit, this make it easy to build a hole network whit AD-01. For example the AD-01 can be used as a converter from RS-232 to M-bus, or as a repeater to make the communication distance longer, AD-01 can also be used to extend a M-bus network whit modem. As zone controller the AD-01 can make it possibly to connect several M-bus interfaces to one master. So you can couple this Gateway to a CP340 or a CP341, the only problem is that you have to write the software to communicate with the AD-01 [:(]

This solution is being tested with the shown units within the PDF file I add to this post. If you are interested in this software please contact the international technical Support.
