Simatic Shell missing Project status

Peltsu Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello! From one problem to the another :) Everything was fine until suddenly Simatic Shell didn't show anymore WinCC project status (eg. Configuration, Runtime), but PLC connections are shown although. Also the clients can't see projects status but otherwisethey areworking. My setup: WinCC 6.2 SP2 Server + 2x WinCC 6.2 Client I'm also installing an another client and I have weird problem with that, I can browse servers project folder etc. and ping with IP and name but when I try to use autostart it can't start project and if I try to open project WinCCExplorer says "The user does not have the rights to perform this action!". Client's user belongs to HMI, HMI viewer and to that SQLuser groups. EDIT: I tried with another user and with that it worked (when opening the project it asked login and started ok). But with the user (which is used in other clients also) it doesn't ask login, just says that user doesn't have the rights. What could cause that?

April Posts: 1776 Rating: (95)	Hi, If one user is a member of two or more usergroups he have only the rights of the lowest user group. chack if your user is member of more usergroups. remove the user from all usergroups exept the wincc desired groups. Peltsu Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	The user rights are just like on another clients, that's why I'm pretty confused. But do you know is that normal that project status is missing from simatic shell? It's there a few seconds after activation of project and then disappears. Only connections to the plc's are shown. Same happens also in clients.
