Hulzhex Gold Member Joined: 8/25/2005 Last visit: 5/25/2023 Posts: 1161 Rating: (110)	Hello Raheel, reading Raheel ... do this with FC3 DP_Diag ... I think you are using the CP342-5 as DP-Master? To get the diagnostic data of your slave you have to use this FC. Please have a look at the documentation S7-CPs for PROFIBUS Configuring and Commissioning chapter 5 descripes the dignostic tool. Within the DP_STATUS at the DP_RECV you will get the information that there are faults at your PROFIBUS network. So you have to read the diagnostic list with DP_DIAG. There you will get the information which Slave got the fault. With this information you could read the Single Diagnostic of the Slave to get the detailed information. Good luck Sabine

Raheel Bronze Member Joined: 8/10/2006 Last visit: 5/18/2023 Posts: 156 Rating: (3)	Hello, Actually I am using CP443-1 as master and the block is SFC13 "DPNRM_DG" for reading diagnostic data of DP slave.In the Record parameter of this sfb I would be mapping the diagnostics information. But I dont know the length, structure of diagnostic DB. I have searched on internet but so far I am unable to find any diagnostics information on Siemeas P device.
