Simodrive 611, signal 65 is to low

Hello all,

we have a problem with our machine Hyundai HIT 15S. The spindle do not want to start. In terminal 65 is 6-7V should be 24V. When I put out the wire from 65 the voltage is 24V, when I put on againt Voltage is 6V and spindle can not start.

I have incomplete documentation and I do not know from which device come this wire ( description SCE3 in my machine)

Somebody can help me?

The signal 65 form spindle come form X141 without any relay? X141 is MMC CPU which I changed month ago so should be ok.

 I am very well for your system, I think you have 840C CNC , and you use 611A spindle drive

"65" Not coming from MMC cpu but from meansuring card, I am busy now , we have here national holyday, I will give you help in 2 days

I solved my problem. Helped me nulizhang from forum. He told me that the signal come from measuring card. I put out this card and there are three small relay. One of them (spindle relay) was broken. I change them and machine start.

BuT sure I know. more information you get from Siemens book. Books did not show you which relay. So the host user is smart to find it.

The tracking relay is like this, you should know very well Siemens 840C or 810M measuring card--it is really analogue control card, ONE card can use to control 3 axis. the send out signal are from connector 25 pin D type, there are 3 group of  56/14 wires lable, and same 3 of 9-65 pair --56/14 will connect to 611A or 610 drive set point, and 65-9 connect to drive 65 and 9. Ter 9 is DC24V from drive--it coming into measuring card controlled by that 3 small relay   --when PLC set drive enable --the relay should engage that making 65 getting Hi voltage DC24v from Ter.9.

Now hoe to find out which relay is for which axis. You should know you NC setting such as spindle connect to #1 or #2 or #3 , from NC parameter or manufacturer book. the rest thing is trace from board--print circuit wires on the board.

the D type 25 cable for set point and enable, drawing can be found in Siemens book for 840C connection (PLC part#2) cables. if you cannot find that book ,let me know I will post drawing here
