Simodrive migration to Sinamics S

Dears,

My customer had an old drive system for controlling a packaging machine. He had Simodrive 611U, which we changed to Sinamics S.

I have no problem in the hardware, but I have a question regarding signals mapping. Is there any document to relate the old I/O signals to Sinamics I/O signals?

Simodrive 611U consist of different types of infeed modules, motor LT modules & control cards, e.g. regulated or un-regulated infeed modules, single or double motor LT modules, control card for different encoder configuration etc. etc. i.e. in short it needs to select depending upon hardware interfacing & application. Sinamics S120 booksize converter system is an alternate. But again this also needs to be configure.

So direct migration information is not available. 

Please provide 611U control card number & new sinamics S120 drive CU unit details so as to help you.

It is not simodrive 611U but it is 611A i.e. analog drives.

Control card 6SN1118-0AA11-0AA1. Please check this once again. Part number says it is closed loop user friendly interface 1 axis FD control card. Where as motor power module is for dual motor. How 2nd motor is interfaced & controlled?

However, please refer attached folders, contains termination details of 16/21 Kw infeed regenerative regulated power module & 611A 1 axis control card.

Dear Sir,

Attached manual section 4 is of 611D drive. Part number submitted by Mr. Ahmed is of 611A. There is difference between 611A & 611D drive termination.

Hello,

Have you checked termination details of old drive card with their original electrical hard wiring? Are they matching? 

I just wanted to know the old terminals to know what was connected to old drives, but I'm using PROFIBUS to send/receive commands and status from the drive now.
