simotion axis and drive message frame

In the standard telegram types the interfaces are defined but telegramtype 999 doesn't supply this information. Regards Christoph

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 4/22/2025 Posts: 22600 Rating: (3060)	Hello, free or user defined is unknow because nobody knows in which PZD auf the telgram are the data for the encoder is received by simotion and in which PZD Simotion should send the setpoints. This informations is only available with defined telegrams like Telegram 1,2,3,4,5 or 102,103,105,106. For this telegrams is a standard definition available called PROFIDRIVE Profil. In your pdf you see the automatic generated telegram 999 from the SIMOTION symbolic assignment, it is represetend by drive parameter p922, the Interfaces for actor and sensor are defined by drive parameter p2079 (you can control this with the expertlist of the drive). If on the drive booth parameters (p922 and p2079)= 999 then simotion can build the informations , this is you case, you set the automatic build to manual and switch p2079=p922=999. So the SIMOTION can't find the correct telegramstructur and say "invalid data" Regards Christoph
