simotion CU320-25P with Active line module and double motor module

OnlyOne Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Expert, Now we got a simotion issues, out current simotion configuration is one D435 controller and two CU320-2DP controller, one of the CU320-2DP with one active line module and two double motor module, and every time we switch off/on the power for the active line module and double motor module individual, the CU320-2DP has fault, and the phenomena is for active lime module ready light is green, DC-link light is off, for double motor module ready light is red, DC-link light is off, but after swtich on the power, we sure 24VDC is supply, we think when power on, the CU320-2DP controller will scan the connect parts, at that time is not successful, does anybody met that issues? can give your comments? so every time we switch off/on the whole panel power, every part initialize ok. The safety fault occurs because with the power off on the components you lost the DQ communication between CU and Components and you get the Safety PowerON Error! So you must Power OFF/ON all components included CU320! Regards Christoph

If safety configuration is active on the group then you must power off the complete group (CU, ALM, MoMo). If a Group of components have no safety configuration you can powerOff the components without powerOff the CU. On the CU320 you can test if the reset of the CU320 via parameter p972=1 will solve your problem. This parameter only works on the CU320 not on the SIMOTION D! Regards Christoph
