Dear Friends,

We are using D410 simotion V4.2 system with 1PH7 motor with Drive-Cliq Resolver for Speed control.

In our machine having Incremental Encoder for Position, the Same Incremental Encoder connected at Simotion D410-X23 Connector.

Our Machine Setup:

This is a linear application.

1PH7 motor-- --- connected to - Gear Box (11Rev of motor = 1 Rev. of Gearbox Output) – connected-------- with Linear movements Tables (On the Table, we are having Incremental Encoder for Position measuring, Encoder ; 2500 PPR, TTL)

Our Encoder circumference: 250mm

Motor Gear Box Ratio: 11:1

If Gear Box rotates one revolution then Table moves 610mm.

We are checking with control panel, While checking – we are facing the below problems,

1. kindly check the Our MECHANICS parameters are correct
2. we are trying to Rotate, Table is moving forward / Reverse with minimum 50mm forward and 50mm reverse continuously.
3. Please send a sample programme for External encoder with Linear motion.

Distance per spindle revolution and 250 mm/rot for Measuring gearbox Distance per measuring wheel revolution. And your gearbox ratio for your encoder must 1/1 if there is no gearbox there (in your configuration it's 1/2). And you need also a good tune (automatic or/and manual) to be able to runwith an external encoder.
