HI,

I have one simotion d425 system, the system was fine and working with CF card v5.2, the system controls 4 axes and the old CF card was 6AU1400-2PA22-0AA0-Z=44

for testing we power off the simotion and remove CF CARD and then insert new one with firmware v4.3 (6AU1400-2PA22-0AA0-Z) as you can see in fig "CF1" after power-on all led's on d425 was red and the ready LED blinking red and orange . and the display shows .8 as you can see in fig "led", So I think maybe the firmware of CF card is the problem and I upgrade it to version 5.3 from siemens site, but the problem didn't solved. the other problem is that I can not connect to this d425 any more (the version of simotion is 5.3).

I changed the CF card with another one with z=43 but the problem was the same.

can any one help me on that?

and do it work with the first CF you have removed?

 unfortunately at the moment we cant test that, because the old CF CARD is running on another machine and we can't remove it. I put another CF CARD on it but the problem is the same the MLFB of the other one is: 6AU1400-2PA23-0AA0-Z=43 but the version is v5.2

As you said it, the problem was fan/battery module. I changed it with another module and the problem solved
