Simotion SCOUT start drive with control panel

Kristoffel Posts: 31 Rating: (0)	Hello, I'm trying to run a motor from Simotion SCOUT with the control panel feature. Attached you find the status of the control panel, just before I would like to start the motor with the green button. When I fill in a speed, and press the green button, my online connection is disabled, and when I afterwardsgo online again, I get the following fault message: 1030: Sign of life failure for master control. I'm connected to the Simotion D425 with a USB PC Adapter, maybe there is a problem with that one? Anyone can help with this? Attachment Clipboard02.jpg (494 Downloads)

CarlosE Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	The pc adapter device, suports only a baud rate 1.5Mb and Sinamics drives is handled 12Mb. look the Sinamics baud rate

Kristoffel Posts: 31 Rating: (0)	I connected through Ethernet on port X130 of the Simotion D425 and now it was possible to perform a movement from the control panel. So the problem obviously was due to the speed of the USB PC Adapter (max 1,5 Mb/sec) I used to connect to the D425, and because the Sinamics integrated works at a speed of 12Mb/sec. So problem solved, thanks for all the information!
