Hello Anup, contact for the SIMOTION Message Handling application is: tech.team.motioncontrol@siemens.com The transmission of messages to a higher-level controller is not part of the SIMOTION Message Handling application. The user is responsible for this. There are several possibilities to exchange data between a SIMOTION CPU and a SIMATIC CPU.The right selection depends on the bus system (PROFIBUS, PROFINET), the machine topology, real time transfer necessary, amount of data, … . Please take a look at the system manual – Communication with SIMOTION: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/99007729 For the transfer of large data volumes via TCP/IP, e.g. transfer of the Message Handling STRING buffer, which is in general not time critical (no real time transmission required), we recommend to use the SIMOTION application LCom. See SIMOTION FAQ - TCP/IP communications with large data volumes: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/43165740 See also SIMOTION, SIMATIC: Communication Library LCom for Ethernet Communication: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/49368864 Integration of LCom library/block (with example source code) into a SIMATIC or SIMOTION project can easily be done with the ProjectGenerator: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/51479247 Contact for the SIMOTION LCom communication application is: profinet.team.motioncontrol.i-dt@siemens.com |
