Today I tried to do a simple application using MCC and LAD/FBD units andinboth casesI could enable the drive (_mc_power), stop (_mc_stop)and start movement(_mc_movevelocity) of the MM440 axis. But, I could not change parametersas ramp-up time (p1120) and ramp-down time (p1121) in seconds directly, only changing the Acceleration and Desaceleration in "Dynamics" tab/block. I also tried to write in drive parameter (p1120/p1121) using the _writedriveparameter block from Drives>SIMOVERT in Command Library, but I had difficulty to fill out the parameters in the block. Is this theright way to follow ? Could you please help me with this issue as well ? Best regards, Berg Splitted from MM4 and Simotion SCOUT 4.1.4.1.

Regards Christoph Hello Christoph, I read in the Scout Online Help about the "_writedriveparameters" but I still have doubts how to fill out the following parameters: ioId (optional) logAddress doId (optional) parameterNumber numberOfElements (optional) subIndex (optional) nextCommand commandId dataLength data For example, if I want to set the p1120 [0](Ramp-up time) = 2.0 seconds, how to fill the command _writedriveparameters correctly ? I tried this: ioId (optional) : ??? logAddress : HWConfig I/O Address ??? doId (optional) : ??? parameterNumber : 1120 numberOfElements (optional) : 1 subIndex (optional) : 0 nextCommand : ??? commandId : ??? dataLength : ??? data : 2.0 I hope I have been clear in my issue. Using this FBs is much easier. Start the Utilities&Applications on the DVD with Start_Utilities&Applications.html Regards Manfred

I copiedthe library LDPV1that you mentioned at Utilities&Applications DVD Scout and after extracting Iimported this library directly intomy projectclicking with right mouse button on "Library" and select the menu "Import object".But with this imported library I can onlyfind theRead/Writecommandsin ST code. I could not find these Read/Write commands in LADrepresentation as shown in SimotionEasy Basics manual (e.g. FBLDPV1WriteOneParameter in the attached picture).
