Simple Sample and TIPs - WinCC Unified - ChangConnection system fuction

Hi,

• For connections to S7-300/S7-400 it is necessary to set IP, Rack and CPU Slot
• For connections to S7-1200/S7-1500 it is necessary to set the IP, but you must leave Rack and CPU Slot blank.
• It should be possible that after an IP change the PLC becomes a new certificate and due this, the communication doesn’t work anymore. In this case there are two alternatives:

1. build a non-integrate connection and use not secure communication between PLC and HMI (CPU Properties >Protection&Security>uncheck “Secure HMI communicationOnly”)
2. After the connection change,  update the certificate at the Unified System.

• For RT, Open the Runtime Manager, then Settings and Certificates. Select the certificate of the PLC and click on "Trust”.
• For HMI, Click on the button with the ChangeConnection script,  go to panel settings >Security > Certificates > Certificate store =   "Other Certificates"  >Select the certificate and click on the "Trust"
