Hi, Normally, the PLC and HMI IP addresses are fixed and defined. In some applications, however, it is necessary that the PLC address to be configurable, such as in cases of HMI that can be connected alternatively to different machines or when the PLC receives addresses via user program / DHCP. In these cases, it is possible to adapt the IP address defined in the HMI connection without the need to download a program, through the "ChangeConnection" system function: TIPs
Note To keep the HMI simple and focused, in this example there is a single PLC with a fixed address. The HMI can connect to two pre-defined addresses 192.168.222.1 and 192.168.222.2. In terms of simulation, it is possible to change the PLC address downloading a new configuration manually. AttachmentProject2_20241002_0943.zip (2 Downloads) |
