Simulate TP700 Comfort with CPU 1511T-1 PN in TIA V15.1 Up. 1 doesn't work

Éber Oliveira Experienced Member Joined: 6/3/2013 Last visit: 12/9/2024 Posts: 50 Rating: (6)	Hi Everybody, I try simulate a TP700 Comfort with CPU 1511T-1 PN in TIA Portal V15.1 Update 1, following the recommendations in https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109748099 - "Example scenario 2: Simulation of an HMI operating device and a control system (local)", but doesn't work. All display variables in HMI appear #####, not communicating with the PLC, but PLC simulate is ok. Details: CPU 1511T-1 PN -6ES7 511-1TK01-0AB0 fw v2.6, HMI TP700 Comfort -6AV2 124-0GC01-0AX0 v13.0.1.0. In Set PG/PC Interface: S7ONLINE (STEP7) --> PLCSIM.TCPIP.1. In the same desktop I try simulate other PLC and HMI and it works! In that case a CPU 1515T-2 PN -6ES7 515-2TM01-0AB0 fw v2.6and HMI TP900 Comfort -6AV2 124-0JC01-0AX0 v15.1.0.0. Detail, different applications in the two situations and running normally on physical hardware, it is not a test from scratch. Has anyone seen anything like it?

Did you set the IP address correctly? Is there access to HMI in the cpu settings? Configuring access protection for the CPU
