Just a question out of scope from Siemens stuff. I am making a Simulation Panel for testing all analogs, and will be using different PLC panel, Siemens, AB, GE, etc, Will this circuit be applicable to all standard PLC's or Should I check the connections of each PLC AI card and then decide. Is there any Generic Circuit available to be used with all?

I can Say Used the Isolator Which having 2 Wire to 4 Wire Convetor, & on 2 wire Side Connect to 10K Pot & 4 Wire Side Connect to PLC, So it get isolated & Your New Module also not get affacted by wrong Wiring.

for this you have to Search for the Isolator in the P&F, MTL or Phoenix Contact.

Hello,

If you use a series resistor you can use a potmeter at 24V to make 0 to 10V for testing purpose.

See picture:

You can use it at any analog (voltage) input,

and forall otherinput-types you can use a universal signal converter after this circuit.
