Simulation PLC HMI ERROR

MMMLL Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a problem I hope you can help me. I'm using TIA PORTAL v12 SP1. I used a HMI comfort and a PLC 1511PN. When I do the simulation, the problem is that PLC and HMI are not talking. For example, when I press a button on a screen HMI, you should change the variable that corresponds to the PLC, but it does not. But that's only an assumption because your description is not very clear. Which connection are you using? How is your hardware installation, ...?

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello, if you want to use HMI Runtime, the IP-address of PC/PGshould be the same as the "HMI-Panel" (HMI -> Connections). Either you change the HMI-Interface to the IP of the PG or the other why round. Then, the PG/PC interface settings must be set to "TCPIP" (Control Panel > Set PG/PC Interface > [Your interface.TCPIP]). And if the CPU has an protection, the password is needed. Then it will work
