SINA_POS multi axis

Hi all,

Looking for any help or advice for a problem.

I'm building a machine with two axis, independent from each other.

Drive: CU320-2 PN with extended safety, 2x CUA31, 2x PM240-2, 2x braking resistor, 2x SMC20 with ENDAT encoder (multiturn absolute + incremental track).

PLC: CPU1510SP F with normal + safety I/O. HMI KTP400 comfort for service and monitoring.

I'm using the basic positioner function for both axis, so the control loop is completely in the drive. Also the safety is monitored internally. Safe position feedback is going back to PLC with profisafe.

In the PLC I use the SINA_POS block to control my axis. The end-user has a panel with buttons, with a press of a button the machine should move both axis to predefined position.

My problem:

One button (one position call) + one axis => everything works fine

One button (one position call) + two axis => everything works fine

Two or more buttons (multiple position calls) + one/two axis => problem

The drives are enabled, you can hear the fan spinning up, but nothing moves. When pressing the desired button, and then pressing all others, the drives are moving to the first selected position.

Other functionality in the called blocks is working properly, so I guess it's something 'sina_pos' related.

Anyone having an idea for a quick fix? Or an example of how to use sina_pos properly with muti-axis?

Thanks for helping me out. Application is working now!

I used one multi instance DB instead of two separate single instance DB's, fixed this and everything runs perfect now. Thanks again!
