kki5 Posts: 18 Rating: (1)	for the first time i am using SINAMICS G120 (6SL3 244-0BA20-1FA0 ) an i have to communicate it with CPU 317-2PN/DP . ETHERNET ports are avaible on the drive but i dont know how to feed the address in the drive from BOP can some one tell me its very urgent Thanks and Regaurds

The IP addresses can be consecutively assigned from the IP address of the IO controller. If the IP address is set by the IO controller, it is saved in a volatile fashion. Furthermore, you can change the IP address manually. In this case, the IP address is saved in non-volatile fashion. If the IP address is to be stored in a non-volatile memory, the address must be assigned using the Primary Setup Tool (PST). I guess this is new device and with BOP itsn't be possible to put IP address. Anyway: PROFINET IP address: see P08831 PROFINET IP subnetmask: see P08832 Hope this will helps.
