can any one explain how to communicte Sinamic G120 Drivedirectly to starter software with profinet? |

Hi Ummi, Unfortunately I have not used G120's with profinet however this is how I would tacke it Connect using Simatic Manager viayourPLC (Assuming it is S7). I.e once you have built your PLC Architecture andadded the G120 Power Blockwith Profinet Control Unitto your S7 project (from the Drives ES library). You should thenbe able to connect and open up Starter through S7 Manager. If youdo not have the GSDML filesyou will need to download and install them into Simatic Manager: https://support.automation.siemens.com/GB/llisapi.dll?query=g120+profinet&func=cslib.cssearch&content=skm%2Fmain.asp&lang=en&siteid=csius&objaction=cssearch&searchinprim=0&nodeid0=21909426 I hope this works - sorry I can't give you a definate solution. |
