An installation like this has a lot of technical details, which should be commissioned also, and are not foreseen in any manual. For example excitation converter, bearing lubrication, jacking oil unit,... For 24MW, the chance is also big that there is a harmonic filter installation included also. This should be commissioned also in the right way. For optimizing the converter, it is necessary to optimize the speed controller, current controllers (Id and Iq), flux controller, g-factor,field weakening operation pointand also excitation current controller (and even a lot more...) From these kind of optimalisations, there are no manuals available...
