SINAMICS 6SL3720-1TG37 power unit chip temperature A5001 false

Simone-EDM Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	Everytime the drive go in operating mode appear the current fault warning W5001 power unit chip over temperature. I think that this is just only noise of signal because if I check the parameter signal r37.1 with the trace (attacced starter trace) I can se the temperature start from 30°C to over 120 °C in just only 0,7 seconds and after go down. This is not possible really!! The ambient temperature is 30°C and the cooling fan is working. My question is: the p0290 Power unit overload response really do Reduce output current or output frequency or shutdown when overload threshold is reached? I am on commissiong of rolling mill plant and I have occasionally problems of strage and anomaly torque responce and speed response. Can the p290have some influence? All sinamics drives in this plant have the same kind of problem. Motor Module SINAMICS S120 CM 6SL3720-1TG37-4AA0-Z Power Block 6SL3352-1AG37-4FA1 Please give me help. Simone-EDM Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	The files *.trc are the trace made by STARTER program for SINAMICS On the trace is clear the signal r37.1 change value from 30°C to over 125°C on 0,7 seconds. This happen when the pulse modulation start and every time the speed setpoint change to accelerate the motor. I have verify also that really the paramenter p290 have effect from 90°C untill that temperaturate go down under 75°C. This limitation of current I can not accept if the signal is not true.

It p230 is interesting to a vector mode. Can you will try to increase р1462 (for example 30, 50, 100 etc), or p1120, p1121 for less dynamiks. Best regards.

Simone-EDM Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	Is it not a problem of dinamic because I see the problem when the modulation (OFF1) start but the reference of speed is 0, just only the motor excitation. The signal that I see I'm sure that is just only a noise caused by the PWM. Siemens Tecnician of Istanbul Turkey is came on plant and he have not idea about problem.
