Sinamics Drive Setpoint Timeout Fault (Profibus Fault)

Tech Ahmed Advanced Member Joined: 1/16/2012 Last visit: 10/3/2024 Posts: 110 Rating: (2)	Dear Experts, We are facing one problem with two sinamics drives in the two different PROFIBUS networks,They tripped with the alarm "F01910 PB: Setpoint Timeout". Flt val 00000000 0X00000000 (Hex) After tripping getting ready as well asby resetting the alarm. I checked all profibus connection and cable, every thing is OK. The drivesare connected with SIEMENS CPU 416-3 (IF-964-DP Port). Please guide me what could be the problem. I am thinking may need to increase the watchdog time for communication between drive and CPU 416-3. Thanks & Best Regards

Please check the profibus cable connection,if possible remove the connection & reconnect it. what is in p2047, increse p2047 to 100 ms was your system working fine earlier,or you have just comssioned the system?

Can u attach file of your control word and status word of your drive->plc?

Dear Ashutosh, Thanks for putting the time on this issue. The typeof the drive is SINAMICS GM 150 CU320. I checked the profibus cable and replaced all profibus connectors, but the problem is still there. The setting of p2047 PROFIBUS additional monitoring time = 0 ms. The drive is commissioned in 2008 and it was working fine.

Regards, Shank Dear Shank, There are only three nodes in this network, and these are directly connectly with CPU 416-3. The value of p2047 is 0ms.
