punter Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, From plc iam able to give the speed set point to drive with profibus communication but the drive cannot running in the speed setpoint when i am giving the enable commant to drive. For example i am giving the speed of 250.0 rpm the dirve is running in 150.0 rpm when i was giving the enable command. Even when i am giving the 300.0 rpm the drive is running in 150.0 rpm,,, Pleaseeeeeeee give me the solution

Example: P2000 = 3000rpm and you want to run with 1500 rpm. So you have to send 50% = 2000 0000 HEX from the PLC (100% = 40000000HEX for DWORD or 100% = 4000 HEX for WORD) application example: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/58820849 Of course there are further possiblities like mechanical problems - but than you should get error messages. But I don`t know your parametrization. Maybe you can send us some screen shots of the speed setpoint channel (STARTER pictures). Regards Zako
