SINAMICS G110 USS

Dear all

I have written an USS stack for one of our door control systems and can read and write parameters from and to the G110 USS unit.

But which telegram start/stop/reverse the motor ?

Lets assume the engine have been commissioned correctly.

I have looked through the

G110_COM_18947608__en_0404
G110_COM_1104_20976910_EN
G110_PLi_15347955_0403_en

but can not find which telegram start and stops the engine.

You have to send a control word (and a set point) like described on page C-25 (page 54 in PDF) in the USS specification (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/24178253).

When you change from 047E to 047F the drive will switch on (if it has no active fault) and if you send 047E again it will switch of (after it reached 0 Hz)

You can reverse the drive by negating the setpoint. 16384 is the speed defined in p2000 of the drive. -16384 is the same speed, but in the other direction.

Can you elaborate a little more around this, how do you know that the control word, PZD1 should be 047E and 047F ?

Regarding P2000:

In the header to the telegram is says that the unit us Hz and the type is a float
but is says "as a percentage or a hexadecimal value." and the USS-PZD indicate a hexadecimal number

Which one should be used it in the telegram, should I send a IEEE float number or a "rational number with no fraction" representing the reference frequency.

Where does f(Hex) comes from if now the parameter value sent in P2000 is in the "formula already"
The formula says

f(Hz) = (f(Hex) / 4000H) * P2000

f(Hex) is the value sent via P2000 but P2000 appear in the formula again as P2000.

Or is it so that P2000 is used a scale factor regarding P1082, that is,

P2000 = 0x2000 means half speed, 0x4000 full speed in respect to what ever p1082 is set to?

To drive the engine forward 100% do I send the telegram p2000 with 0x4000 in PWE ?

To drive the engine backward 100% do I send the telegram p2000 with 0xC000H in PWE ?

conclusive, to drive the motor with 40 hz (half speed forward) I send

P1082 = 80
P2000 = 0x2000
