Sinamics G120 Drive running on BOP-2

Hello,

the „Hand“-Mode of the BOP-2 is the setpoint and control master, just like when you are using the control panel control priority. So the BOP-2 commands override the other commands as long as the drive is not in operation.
Could you run the drive with STARTER control panel?
Check for any limitations speed or torque. With STARTER you can watch the setpoint path from the source to the speed controller pretty good, so you can see where the setpoint comes to 0.

Today I have been able to run the drive from both BOP-2 & from HMI/PLC using fixed frequency.I would like to take the frequency command from PLC through profibus DP. For this i set up the parameters as in attachment. 

Status words(P2051.0-P2051.5) are coming fine. Motor Start command is from DI0/722.0. Speed Set-point command is from PLC via profibus address PQW354(only Transmitting value from PLC). So when i start the motor, its getting started taking current(100-200A), but doesn't rotate(no speed ref r2050.1(PZD2) = 0). 

My parameter settings are OK?? Do I need set/check any other parameter???

 Anything to do with this parameter(P2037) as nothing is transmitted through PZD1????

Hello,

please check that bit 10 in PZD1 (Control by PLC) =1. Parameter p854 must be connected to r2090.10.10
Otherwise the setpoint is not taken into account.

I would not recommend to change p2037.

Sorry for late reply.

Before your post, I changed p2037 & found positive result. And since then my drive has been running fine.

Note: No PZD1 transmitted from PLC. Drive is getting on/off from DI0 = 722.0

I didn't check what was earlier, but i have checked now: r2090 = 0000h, p854[00] = 1, p854[01]=1;

According to parameter manual "If the STW1 is not transferred according to the PROFIdrive with PZD1 (with bit 10 "master control by PLC"), then p2037 should be set to 2." matches my configuration.

Also I have seen the STARTER help where it also recommends not to change p2037.

What to do now?? 

Need suggestion.
