I have one variable speed from sinamics G150, and i have connect it by profibus to the cpu 414-2DP, but now i don`t know if i have to make something more on the hardware or i have to configure it in the variable speed directly. DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	As a first step, you need to add a telegram extension in Starter (or Scout) program. If you have DrivesES or Scout installed, then the hardware configuration of the S7 controller will be updated automatically: the drive is integrated into the S7 project. If not, then the hardware configuration GSD file for the drive must be manually modified to match the new drive communication configuration. As a last step, parameters to be send and received can be added on the drive side to the extended telegram slots. Attached is an example screenshot of each step.
