Sinamics S GSD StartDrive

rdu03 Regular Member Joined: 12/22/2014 Last visit: 1/25/2023 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Dear experts, I have installed TIA Portal V13 with StartDrive V13, i want to add a S110 drive with CU305 PN to the project but i only have the GSD files for the G series drives. I have been searching for the profinet GSD files for the S series drives with no succes. Is there any way to add an S series drive to TIA Portal V13 project? Thank you

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 2/8/2023 Posts: 21233 Rating: (2800)	Hello, in TIA the sinamics S110 is only available if you install the GSDML files which you can download here. But note that with TIA/STARTDRIVE no commissioning of a SINAMICS S is possible at the moment, for Commissioning or Online Diagnostics you must use STARTER. Regards Christoph

The GSD is showing in the HWCatalog in the section aditional field devices. You can't create the S110 in the "Create Device Dialog". Open your project, open the networkview, go in the catalog to additional Filed devices and then drag&drop the CU305 from the catalog to the project. Note! The commissioning is doing with Starter ! TIA doesn't support any SINAMCIS S Devices! Regards Christoph
